We’ve got some huge news to close out the year…
🚀 Manufacturing Has Started!
Our partners at BODA Games have officially begun full production of Terrible Influence™! All files, components, rulebooks, deluxe extras, bonus packs—the whole chaotic pile of internet fame and bad decisions—are now in the factory pipeline.
This means we’re on track to ship games to all backers at the beginning of 2026.
Thank you for your patience, your support, and your belief that this dumpster fire we call life would make for a pretty fun game.
📸 Final Prototype Photos – IT LOOKS INCREDIBLE
Before production kicked off, BODA sent us final pre-production prototypes, and… wow.
This game looks ridiculously good.
Here are some of the highlights:
The cardstock quality is fantastic—colors are clean, icons are sharp, and the decks shuffle beautifully.
The deluxe standees and tokens came out even better than expected.
The box and sleeve look like something you’d find on a retail shelf… except better, because your version is even cooler.
Everything is coming together exactly the way we hoped, and we cannot wait for you to hold this game in your hands.

🚀 Final Prototypes Are Here!
Hey everyone,
We’ve got some very exciting news to share—our manufacturer has officially shipped us the final prototypes of Terrible Influence for final approval before we begin our first production run! 🎉 This is a huge milestone, and we couldn’t have gotten here without all of your incredible support and engagement along the way.
For the first time, we will be holding the Deluxe Edition components in our hands, and we’re absolutely thrilled with what we’re seeing so far. One feature we’re especially proud of is the deluxe box sleeve design, which allows the game to be displayed horizontally on one side or vertically on the other. This means you can showcase your limited edition copy on your shelf like the award it truly is. 🏆
We can’t wait to share photos and impressions as we go through the prototypes, and we’re more excited than ever to move into production so we can get Terrible Influence into your hands.

Backerkit Surveys and Production Update: July 2025

Hey there Terrible Backers!
BackerKit Surveys
Our Backerkit Smoke Test went out earlier this week and it looks like everything is in order to send out all surveys at the end of this week!
What we need from you:
Once you receive your survey link, please log into backerkit, complete your shipping information and finalize your orders as soon as possible. We're planning on keeping the Backerkit open through August at which point our production should be just about ready to sail to our fulfillment hub.
Production Update
We've finalized and review all the game files with our artist, designer and dev team and are ready to move those over to our manufacturer, Boda Yori, in China and begin the print proofing process. We anticipate initiating our print run by the end of the month! This puts our timeline for delivery to backers firmly within this year and we anticipate you all receiving your orders by the holiday season.

Hey Everyone!
We are beyond grateful to each and every one of you for backing Terrible Influence and helping us hit (and surpass!) our funding goal. We couldn’t be more excited to finally bring this game to life!
Over the course of the campaign (and through continued playtesting), we’ve received so many incredibly helpful suggestions. We’re using your feedback to fine-tune the final version of the game—everything from card clarity to gameplay balance.
Your insights have been so valuable, and we’re still open to hearing more! If there’s anything you think we should consider as we finalize things, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Here’s where we’re at in production:
Once we’ve approved the final prototype from our manufacturer, we’ll move forward with the first full printing of the game. As soon as we receive those first copies, we’ll begin shipping them out directly to you, our backers. While we don’t have an exact date yet, we’re currently aiming to begin fulfillment in Q4 of this year.

AMAZING NEWS!
We have fully funded and finished our campaign and could not have done it without the support of our incredible backers! Thank you so much!
Your pledges should be processed over the next week as our team closes our campaign phase. Once that happens, we will begin the final proofing process with our manufacturer and open our Backerkit for order finalization.
We are still taking late pledges! So tell your friends that there's still time to grab the game at a discounted rate! Late pledges will be rolled into Backerkit once it launches in early June and will run until we place our final production order in July.
Exclusive Bonus Pack Update! Here is the final artwork for the 10 bonus cards you will be receiving for getting the game from our Kickstarter.
We are on track to deliver in our estimated timeframe of Q1 2026 if not sooner and are looking forward to delivering the game to all of you!
